Lovely staff and top beer selection! Food looked great but didn't have it. Good veggie options.
New favorite pub in Bermondsey, if not London.
What's not to like? Good beer at less than £4 a pint, friendly enough bar staff and a nice atmosphere - both traditional and international. It's obviously a bit out of the way, but is a lovely little option if you're in the area, especially since the nearby Gladstone sadly closed down.
Great pub, beer, food, service and atmosphere
Food options were quite limited when we got there although we did get there after the kitchen closed, but the atmosphere is great and they also offer board games for the bored get it. They also have an interesting selection of beers, that weren't particularly awesome, but we had some fun experimenting with.
Nice pub with decent selection of ales on offer. Went on a Sunday and had a lovely three meat roast dinner. Friendly staff. Will visit again next time I'm in the area.
Have always liked the cosy quiet vibe this pub somehow manages to maintain despite its central location. Good beer too, although the burger was only so so I thought
