This local pub is ok if you don’t speak to anyone in there. You can’t play a game of pool with your partner without someone trying to fight you or smother themselves all over you. The management before we’re much nicer and more approachable. I walked up to the empty bar and waited without being greeted, unless you count one of the drunk visitors trying to chat me up at the bar, then was approached by a very rude lady who looked at me like i was an alien, ‘ID please’ without me even saying a word. This same lady has recently shouted at me down my road for no reason standing outside the pub whilst i was getting out of my car. I don’t even know who she is ?! I ignored it but this place may be good during the week? But maybe avoid weekends??

Fab food and freshly cooked so be prepared to wait - but worth it! Food has a Caribbean twist, so a little different EG Sunday Roast the chicken has a Jerk coating...yummy! Nice selection of beers and wines. Tip: If u work in Stevenage go here for lunch as no crowds. Can be busy at weekends as usually have a themed night....but good fun and a nice atmosphere.

The pub has recently changed management, the music is now hardly audible. The coving in the main bar area is in need of repair before it falls on someone's head. One of the fire exits which is illegal and has been padlocked shut which has been reported to the new manager.
