Match day. Not bad. Food good. Had all day breakfast.Food: 5/5
A promising start that quickly went downhill. Ordered food at 8pm. Really tasty and good prices. Staff service excellent. By 8.30pm the atmosphere was ruined. Lights turned off and music turned up so loud that we were unable to hold a conversation. We asked if the lights could be put back on in the area we were seated and the music turned down and the lights were put back on but the volume was still so high that we could not hear each other. What could have been a lovely evening, spoilt. Left to retreat to a quieter venue. You lost custom tonight. Shame. Dietary restrictions: We were asked if we had an allergies ..
Chloe was my server, she's always been nothing but amazing to be honest. Always checking on her customers to ensure their meals and drinks are okay. She's bubbly and always wearing a smile despite how busy the pub gets, nothings ever too much trouble. I have a dog with me and she was most welcoming towards him and showed my dog the same respect that she gives her customers, always making sure he's okay for food and water. He's most certainly warmed up and got a soft spot for her which is outstanding seens he's got anxiety and is normally really reluctant to greet new people. Now when we walk in he looks for her . I'd highly recommend a visit to The Old Post Office. Kid-friendliness: The pub is kid friendly with plenty of outdoor space they can enjoy too. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair friendly, disabled acsess toilets, staff will come and open the door and assist when needed.
Popped in for a quick pint. Ended up having 2 & food. Friendly staff & tasty chicken wings Didn’t catch the name of the server but she was wicked !
Nice place for a beer very welcoming even the dog got a bowl of water brought out ! We didn't eat but the food looked good - nice place to be with freindy welcoming staff Service: 5/5
Lovely pub, fantastic service from Lyndsey and Chloe. Didn't have gammon for my mixed grill so got bacon instead! Absolutely delicious still. Good portions and tasty too! Wonderful family pub for kids as well. Food: 5/5
I visit here on a regular basis. And I always receive a very warm welcome from Stephen Victoria lyndsey Lauren and zoe. This beautiful venue is a gem to the community. Due atmosphere here is brilliant locals are all friendly and welcoming. Will always return for a fresh crisp cold beer on my travels
Amazing food and service, never seen pigs in blankets so big lol! Lyndsey and Chloe were very helpful with my friend as well, allowing her to swap out one item for another as it was out of stock! Will definitely be back here next time we're in Stevenage! :Food: 5/5
