I visit The Standing Order - JD Wetherspoon every week and it never disappoints. It's a great pub with an excellent range of drinks and food to suit all tastes. I always have a good time when I am there, chatting with friends or playing the slot machines.
Bright, clean and relaxed. All the usual wetherspoon effects.
Everything on our breakfast plate was cold and very poor quality we couldn't eat it. Cocktail sticks to stir tea? Last meal there was not good thought it was a one off but definitely not going to waste our money there again. The one star is for the young lady behind the bar who was very pleasant and welcoming.
Had a traditional breakfast this morning, the price was excellent but the breakfast was cold to lukewarm which was disappointing. Eggs & beans & bacon stone cold. Sausage was lukewarm. Don’t think I be returning Positive we’re park outside for free if spaces available, large seating area inside. Lots of choice for drinks & a good selection of food for breakfast/lunch/dinner all reasonable prices. Can’t comment on the menu as I only had breakfast
I've been to do many Wetherspoon pubs but this is the worst in the country so far. The male toilets are insufficient for the type and number of people that visit the pub. Every time I've visited they have been in a disgusting state. At the weekend it's full of 'entitled millennials' who think they're the most important people in the world. Staff are ok, although lacking in basic knowledge of real ale. All in all, give this one a miss.
Kayleigh & Jhonis are amazing at their job! A credit to the place and I thank them both for their amazing service! Wouldn’t come back if it wasn’t for them!
I feel that the service was adequate and the food was edible. In Stevenage old town, freshly cooked costs the same, and politeness costs nothing
Stopped here after an event in the area. Placed order via app. Food arrived quickly. One was hot one was cold. Halfway through my meal I went to find our drinks which were still standing on the bar. There is free 3hr parking within walking distance. My husband enjoyed his meal.
Typical Weatherspoon value for money pub I had a spectacular managers special turkey for just £2.99! There is a selection of competitively priced beers and value for money food selection. The only downside is local heavy drinkers who seem to proliferate in their establishments and do not create an ambience, also never enough staff on duty, however it is a clean pleasant environment with a glazed conservatory at the rear of the premises and well worth a visit
They Had typical full english. Veggie breakfast was out of stock..had porridge and fruit..used app so easy to order and service was good...what you expect..no frills
