Good choice of beer and a good atmosphere with both sets of fans. Lunch time fixture on numerous screens around the venue. Didn’t like the look of the food though, deep fried chips with either sausages or chicken nuggets.Food: 1/5
Christmas party ...nhs 2019 .... Nice venue and local to most although pretty tired and in need of uplift in decor.. Little surprized in delay of dinners for some..ie pork dinners... and had wasted time being asked for another list of what was required by each guest even after sending list in previously for there knowledge. And sadly they let themselves down badly by actually not serving a guest and refusing him a dinner completely-this guest had payed and was entitled but actually got nuffin to eat at all ..considering there was spares going through others not attending ..a decision made by club .??.with no negotiation with them organising for nhs .or mentioning a query or problem at time ..just blatently had a guest amoungst many ..not eating!!.. And for this ..this is disgracefull and not acceptable and presently they are holding off paying this person the cost of his dinner not eaten ...for one excuse or another. This is totally not expected by this club house and disgraceful..to say the least ..will not be returning ..or recommending due to this poor service...no one should have been left out ..and had to suffer this outrage ..let alone a member of its local NHS..at 25pounds ahead.!!
Good place for a pre-match pint. I didn't eat, but the food looked good and reasonably priced.
