Very busy, even though we booked, we were told a 40 minute wait for food, which was part of the reason for losing a star. Not enough staff serving, two long queues inside, just to order a drink.nnAfter the long queue and wait for the food and the order, decided to use the app to order the next round of drinks, they took over 15 minutes to deliver the drinks to the table after, I received the order confirmation email with payment taken......thought this was not very good, would have expected them 4 drinks in half that time.nnThe restaurant itself was lovely, nice seating area, toilets clean. Drinks were good and the food was really nice
Went there with family and had a lovely meal. Food was cooked extremely well, hot and tasty! Food also arrived quickly. Team was polite and happy to help with any questions we had. Such a cozy vibe in the pub, would definitely recommend.
Been in Stevenage for 12 years and this is my first visit. A 20 minute stroll brought us to this more traditional looking pub. Decent size car park but be aware of some horrendous pot holes. Settled for a comfy bench table near the fireplace.nnThe App was very easy to order from and you can remove ingredients that you don't like. I ordered a cocktail picture which took about 20 minutes to come so with this in mind I ordered another and it arrived in 2 minutes!nnFood was ordered A home run and bacon and cheese burger. The food was arrived hot apart from my fairground onions were cold. Still it was nice.nnPudding was a very nice warmed chocolate fudge cake.nnAll in all a nice meal.
Came here with my family and it was a very good experience, I had an epic chicken New Yorker, I also had a chocolate fudge brownie pudding. The service was amazing got served by Aimee and she was very polite and smiley. DEFINITELY coming again
Very nice experience. Large car park, and plenty of varied seating for all occasions. Didn't have an ordered drink in stock, but staff came over to sort extremely quickly and did so extremely well. Food was very nice, my 2 onion rings came out separately, but all was fine. Lots of choice on the menu, and some excellent great-value deals on every day. Slight wait at the bar, but many people had turned up after us, so food service was required, and bar service was resolved immediately food was served. Would go again.
