Myself and my partner had a fantastic four night stay and we cannot wait to return! This was the perfect place to stay for a relaxing break, we stayed in the Blue Room which was very comfortable, stylish and spacious with a beautiful view of Hastings and the sea and great facilities. The grounds of the hotel are brilliant including an outdoor pool which we really enjoyed stocked with suncream, towels and water. Breakfast was fantastic and Jason and the staff were all really friendly and welcoming, and we very much enjoyed the hot chocolate every night. We couldn't recommend it highly enough and look forward to staying again soon.
I stayed in the blue room which was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Double shower was powerful and hot. Stunning views from our room of the landscaped garden and the sea beyond. Our host was very attentive and we were looked after very well. Breakfast was delicious and we had a good choice of cereals and juices etc, hot chocolate and marshmallows left out in the evening nice touch. I would certainly stay again.
This hotel is run by people who have an eye for detail and perfection. My room was immaculate and with many additional items you wouldn't find in much more expensive hotels including Strathmore bottled still water and a cafetiere and Colombian coffee in the room. I was given a very warm welcome by Jason on arrival and there was complimentary hot chocolate with marshmallows served at 8pm. The breakfast was perfect with very high quality ingredients. The views from the gardens and Breakfast Room are fantastic. I was staying here for work in the local area but I would encourage anyone to stay here for a holiday or long weekend.
We stayed for one night. Oh how we wished we could have stayed longer. We had a nice welcome, we were shown around and then taken to our room. It was beautiful. Very clean and comfortable. We then took a walk round the garden. It was amazing. There were views of the sea. Lots of plants and trees. Seating everywhere. Just perfect. We had a very comfortable night, then went down for breakfast. A full English for the meat eater. Fruit and then mushrooms tomatoes and beans for the vegan. Fruit juice and tea and coffee. A very very nice breakfast. Altogether a superb weekend thanks to the white house. Very highly recommend.
The Whitehouse, was one of the best placed I have stayed at. The views across the valley are amazing. My photos look like they are taken in the Mediterranean in summer! Accommodation is lithely she themed well. The swimming if just the right size and the gardens are great to walk around in. I would have loved to have my wedding, unfortunately there would have been too many of us.
We stayed here for an anniversary treat. Jason is a first class host, making sure that everything was covered in his introduction when we arrived, asking about our dietary requirements and making us feel welcome. Nothing was forgotten and the only downside was the weather, however Hastings is a lovely place to visit and we will be back. Thankyou again for a lovely stay.
We regularly come to The White House when visiting our friends in Hastings we live in London. It is an exceptional place to stay! Beautiful, immaculate rooms with a stunning view, wonderful hosts for whom nothing is too much trouble and delicious breakfast. A real treat, and excellent value.
Nice room, great bathroom. Pretty gardens. Visit spoilt though by lack of vegan food. I did phone before and my understanding was that my diet would be catered for. It was not ! No dairy free yogurt or milk at breakfast. I was told " we don't cater for vegans"....despite this being in Hastings, described , on a Google search as the most vegan town in England..the vegan society is/ was based in the area! This visit was a birthday treat. It was nice in many ways, but I was made to feel like a fussy complaining guest, when all I wanted was to follow a caring, compassionate diet that respects animals and the environment.
A real Gem of a hotel in Hastings . It’s hard to find a place to stay that ticks all the boxes in Hastings but from the warm welcome , the gorgeous clean rooms , comfy beds , hot chocolate and marshmallows waiting for your return at night , stunning views and gorgeous breakfast . I booked my next stay as I was checking out
