The White Hart

Story

Our traditional pub with a vast history was very popular with the RAF fighter pilots stationed at the nearby Biggin Hill during the Second World War. Since then it has been stylishly refurbished to make it the perfect place to find a cosy corner and take time out whilst enjoying some of our Chefs seasonal dishes and our great selection of wines, ales and lagers.

Inside you will find roaring log fires, comfy armchairs to while away the afternoon and an open bar with a unique dining room.

So, whether it be a special celebration, a mid week treat, or an impromptu dinner we are happy to help you arrange the perfect occasion, just give us a call on 01959 569457 or pop in and speak to one of the team.

We look forward to seeing you soon...

I visited The White Hart for the first time yesterday for two reasons. One it looks a smart establishment from the outside and they're signed up to the Gourmet card discount scheme which give 25% off the entire bill. The first impression is that it's great and the seated restaurant area is smart, however the tables and window seating areas are down at heal and in need of a God spring clean or preferably a refurbishment. That said., the food was good and well presented and the bar staff were very friendly. There is plenty of free parking and a good beer garden which is idea for the youngsters. Lovely pub, we sat outside and really enjoyed the atmosphere and the food. The service was very quick and the food was delicious. There was live music on which was really nice also. The only reason why I have not given this place a 5* is because the collection of plates after you have eaten is non existent. There were tables full of plates and glasses when people had left a long time ago. We ordered dessert and our dinner plates were still on the table when dessert arrived, not great when your sitting outside and there lots of flies around. Other than that I would definitely recommend this place.

Saw some of the reviews after we'd been. The food was very good but we did notice that tables weren't cleared very fast when the pub was busy which is probably understandable. Very good selection of food but limited real ale choice

Really nice pub with superb Garden space, ideal for families with small children. But the food was overpriced for the quality we were served, after waiting a very long time. We were a group of friends and we were all served at different times, when some finished the others were not even served. I left feeling I did not want to go back, what a shame.
