Nice looking pub, if full of cheesey cliche “keep calm” type signs. Had high expectations of food after reading reviews but although fish and scampi were good enough, the chips were almost definitely frozen which I did not expect considering the prices were rather expensive. Shame.

Second visit to this friendly little pub. First time was evening and wife and I had really good meal in restaurant area.Went lunchtime today in bar. I had fish platter, delicious and filling. Wife had Med. Salad and really enjoyed it. Good beer too and atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Just watch out for funny open times. I

Went with a party of 14 ppl .dined in the back of bar in the garden which a hut was turned into a room with 2 large tables in there and heaters it was cold but alot of room in there.Staff were very good service was fine but did not enjoy the food was disappointed in it really .before I went I looked up menu on there website which was a nice selection of dishes .wen got there completely different menu with only a few dishes they were serving.
