Delicious soup followed by cream tea. I just wouldn't sit so close to the door next time! This is a popular place with lovely home made food. A real treat. Was lovely to have a pot of tea and proper china tea cups and a view over the green watching the world go by... Would recommend..

We stopped here for lunch last week. Despite bing a week day it was surprisingly bustling with people. Service was friendly, and the food we had was nice. It's a standard cafe/sandwich bar, with a good range of daily specials. My fishfinger sandwich was much nicer quality than I was expecting with nice big posh fish fingers. I also took home an enormous slice of Bakewell, which was very tasty.

Been to this place nearly every weekend over the years food was top notch but just found the food quality has gone down hill a lot since new owners. Last breakfast we had we both left most of it cheap bacon and god know what them sausages were made of and not been back since.You have a lovely little place not sure why you use cheap products in such a prime busy location.
