Nice food, for a price. Sunday menu was a bit limited for my tastes, but still found a few choices I liked. Staff very accommodating.

Have visited the Kings Head twice recently and have had great food on both occasions. A great Sunday roast the first time where a table of 4 of us shared a whole roast chicken. Cooked superbly with spot on gravy and the usual accompaniments, we all said it was the best Sunday roast we've had at a pub for a very long time and coming from my wife who cooks for a living and has very high standards is certainly high praise! The second visit we popped along for a Monday impromptu lunch and we're greeted by yet again good food and customer service to boot, will be going back.

The food has always been fantastic and the staff very helpful. The outside huts are also a great idea with heating to keep you snug and warm in the winter and the switch for waiter/Waitress service.

Great staff. Great service. Very attentive. Friendly and engaging. The temperature inside the pub is always nice and cosy. They serve Guiness! 
I’ve never found a pub to serve such an amazing roast dinner, with all the trimmings and they are very generous with the pots of sauces, extra Garvey and it’s all hot and so flavoursome. 
The team works hard but are very well matched and all seems to get along. It seems a very nice place to work and they seem to enjoy their jobs.  
This transfers over to the experience for the customer. 
We my my partner and our frenchie go most weeks - I can’t see this changing anytime soon!

We are great supporters of the Whiting and Hammond chain of pub/restaurants and this does not disappoint. Good food and ambience
