Thanks for such a great experience, Jon was really helpful and welcoming, there are great options for vegans if you let them know in advance, the sweet potato curry and naan bread was amazing!! My friends visiting from Israel loved the British pub vibe thanks to the hilarious locals! Only reason for not a 5/5 is there was no camembert cheese starter which my friend wanted, but it was so busy that it obvious you have to get there quick! thanks for a great meal!

The serving wench, Vickie, was a bit lippy, but the beer was excellent and the pub itself very comfortable and welcoming.

I see why this pub has a reputation for gruff service! The host was definitely a bit on edge and a bit grumpy. It was crowded, however, and we were late for our reservation by 45 minutes since our country walk took longer then expected. That being said he did find us a table though even if we couldn't sit in the dining room as we had a dog in tow. Food was correct - standard pub food and came out quickly, no complaints.
