I haven't been to this pub for 8 years, and compared to then this place has improved greatly. I was here for my in-laws 50th anniversary, the food was great and so was the cost of the drinks. Very reasonable. We will be definitely returning here. Also the staff are very friendly too

Very poor quality food, even considering the low price. Very friendly and helpful team of waitresses (otherwise would have been 1 star), but the kitchen really need to up-their-game. Who can't boil garden peas and fry frozen chips in a professional kitchen these days, and why serve a Caesar salad (yet to be dressed) in a colinder, and on a slate? Just daft! Badly executed style over substance. (Also had the wrong leaves which wasn't mentioned prior to serving.) Will be avoiding this chain in future.

A popular local pub where you can eat reasonably good pub food at great prices. This is no gastro pub but in my opinion is way better than the typical chain pubs where everything comes pre cooked and the cooks just heat it up. It costs about £6 for two courses and £8 for three, so it's definitely good value for money.
