Great tasty food and a fair choice of dishes, some of which are not your everyday pub meals! Relaxed atmosphere with log fire and board games to play if you want to. Children friendly, but only a small menu for children. Staff nice and friendly who gave good service, but we did have to wait a while for our pudding order to be taken. Overall, we had a great family meal out with 2 young children and 8 adults, during a busy Good Friday lunch time.

The appropriate superlatives for The Red Fox do not exist. The food is stunning, wines, beers, a gin thing going on, it's just brilliant. The staff are attentive, knowledgeable and polite. The atmosphere is first class. There is an open log fire, great views of the local countryside, and a wealth of relevant old photos and maps around the walls. Despite being almost completely full, service time was very good. There is an outside lift for wheelchairs and the less mobile, and in the summer a terrace and ample gardens with picnic tables. Children friendly, dog friendly. It must be one of the best restaurants on the Wirral.

Lovely place. Good menu, (with an allergy friendly menu.) Impressive selection of craft beers, ciders and whiskies. The bar bites looked delicious and above the usual level of pub food. The bar and terrace are dog friendly. Booking is recommended as it tends to get crowded.

First visit to this excellent venue to meet friends for Lunch. The building is gorgeous both inside and out. For a large building on a busy Saturday afternoon, it didn’t feel crowded at all. The food was too die for and the service friendly and impeccable. Will definitely visit again and can’t wait to go in the summer the setting is glorious.

Another relaxing meal, in cosy idyllic surroundings. Great good as always well presented and cooked to perfection. All the staff make the Red Fox a friendly welcoming place to visit. Be it for a drink or a meal. Doggy snacks in the bar for the four legged visitor in need of a snack and even a box of off the shelf reading glasses for those of us who inevitably leave home without them! They have thought of everything. There's a roaring fire in the bar and in the dining area. It's home-from-home :)
