Story

The Westleton Crown is a traditional Coaching Inn with origins extending back as far as the 12th Century. Located a few miles from the Suffolk Heritage Coast. It retains the character and rustic charm of its heritage whilst offering guests the sophistication and comforts of contemporary living. All thirty four rooms are individually furnished and well appointed, some with four poster beds but all are luxurious, peaceful and relaxing. Whether a hearty breakfast, lunchtime snack, relaxed or formal meal, the 2 AA Rosette-awarded Restaurant serves varied, innovative food created from passion alongside a comprehensive wine list.

This is an ideal location for those seeking peace and quiet. This has been my preferred location for a number of business trips and after a busy day, the surroundings are the perfect place to wind down. The rooms are unique and varied in size due to the nature of the property and the parking fills up quickly but these are very small issues overall. The staff are welcoming and helpful, the bar is inviting and the food has always been to a good standard. The restaurant is always full and it is easy to see why, I have particularly enjoyed the variety of specials each week.  Certainly a place for those looking to relax

This place stood out firstly because of their welcoming of dogs, it is difficult to find a nice place to stay that we can bring our pup to. The staff were very welcoming, even went above and beyond to give the dog treats, made it feel like he was was just as much of a guest as we were. Food was absolutely delicious, couldn't find any fault. The room was quite basic, I thought it was going to be a little more luxurious but enjoyed it non the less. The bath was big though so I couldn't have asked for more :) will definitely stay again.

A wonderful place. The food was delicate but filling. The ales were plenty and tasty particularly the Adnams. I can’t wait to re-visit in the summer months. The staff were perfectly professional and charming, lovely European examples. God help us if we leave the EU and put these peoples jobs and lives at risk.

Lovely Inn and restaurant. Beautifully situated on the village green and within a short distance if RSPB reserve at Minsmere. This is one of my favourite pubs for lunch as the atmosphere is traditional with log fires and and the food outstanding. There are plenty of tables but booking is advisable in peak season. Rooms are available and look to be of a high specification. Good size car park. Simply delightful and cannot recommend too highly

We had a wonderful evening at the Westleton Crown! The food was delicious, the staff really friendly and all worked really well as a team, and the garden Room was really beautiful...made even more special by the wedding flowers that had been left out from a ceremony earlier in the day. We would love to return if only it was a bit closer!
