Had been trying to time my visit as this place is shut on Saturdays from 2.30 til 5. Glad I made it here. A good pint and a decent selection of food on the lunch menu. Plenty of parking, too.

What a lovely pub with great food.the room we stayed in was clean and tidy.there was a small secure garden for the dog and was a sun trap.the dog was welcomed in the pub by all.nice friendly locals and the bar staff was the same.gladly come back.
