Lovely Chinese food, However sometimes the food is only warm not hot. The prices are expensive compared to the other Chinese in town. The fish and chip side is not my thing. It was nicer when Wendy owned it and ran the kitchen. However its a decent Takeaway when its hot.
Below average and poor quality ingredients.I chose this one because because of the good reviews and seeing many customers. unfortunately, it did not live unto expectations. whilst food was plentiful, it was bland tasting, and beef and chicken was almost non-existent. nothing tasted freshly cooked as if it was just re-heated ingredients, and quality was poor.nnUnusually the pork did not taste local, as when I have had pork from other Chinese, you could taste Suffolk pork, even through the spices. These ribs seemed to have been cooked some time ago and just re-heated in a bland BBQ sauce.nnThe special fried rice was nothing special.nnThis rates as one of the worse Chinese take-aways I've ever eaten, and for the price, very poor value.
Poor show this time! EVERY king prawn in our curry, sweet and sour etc, we're full of pooh! My children wasted most of the meal, so a waste of money! Usually much better quality than this, but this is awful.
Absolutely love this place , the chips are the best around , the staff are brilliant and it's extremely reasonable on price. Would definitely recommend
The food fish and chips very greasy and the chip look warm up . Not a nice meal for me. Parter had Stack and kidney pie and chips . Pie ok but chips the same. Would not go again .
