A traditional village alehouse, serving an ever-changing range of locally brewed real ales
A 200 year-old pub, recently refurbished to form a traditional cosy village alehouse. The pub is entirely heated by wood - having a wood-fired range in the public bar (in which pies are heated during the winter) and a large woodburner in the lounge bar.
The pub specialises in local produce, offering an ever-changing range of locally brewed real ale - served straight from the cask. Also available is a selection of locally made spirits, local ciders and soft drinks. Fairtrade and/or organic spirits are also available, as well as a small selection of locally made pies and pasties.
A selection of traditional pub games, including bar billiards, darts and a few others are also available.
