Great place in a fantastic location. Always a decent pint.
Really enjoyed this pub. The staff were very friendly and the food was good home made fair. They also had a nice red wine and beer. All kept well.

Best Sunday lunch I've seen for ages, great selection of veg and meat cooked to perfection
Went to Saddleworth for a hike and decided to explore The Wellington for a nice lunch before catching the train back to Manchester. The pub had a nice Sunday roast offer. Indoor as well as outdoor seating is available. The place is also pet friendly. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. Upon request, they rearranged our table outside in the sun for lunch. The mains were between £7 - £12. They also had vegan+vegetarian options. Definitely worth a visit! The only issue that I felt was that it was a cash only place, and thankfully one of my friends had cash, otherwise it would have been inconvenient to find a place to withdraw.

Was disappointed bc food is not served on Saturday. Staff was very nice though and the drinks are good price
Ale clean and reasonably priced, regulars supersilious. None engaging.
An absolutely amazing place to go for a Sunday roast and a great pint.
