Gorgeous countryside pub, so picturesque. The food was delicious and the pub had a great variety of alcohol on offer. Free parking available and a children's play area.

The best Steak & Kidney pudding I've ever had & homemade chips, mushy peas & gravy to go with it... Unreal! Lovely views at the back to have a pint in the sun. Will definitely be coming back!

This place is amazing. Really recommend a visit. Make sure you book. It’s a very popular place. Also make sure you are hungry, the potions are unbelievable

First time amd was really impressed, food really good, prices were really good. Little outdoor area for the kids. gets really busy though so booking a table is a must!

I come here now and again, the food is pretty good and reasonably priced. The beer garden is great, it has amazing sunsets and a nice play area

Nice quiet place. Came here with some clients whom I was taking to York Races & stopped off here for Breakfast. Nice food. May come back again in future.

Been her a couple of times before on trips back to UK. Always incredible food. Great prices, relaxing environment and views to die for, only downside was the wind upon arrival but once indoors time to unwind with a drink, order from the mouth watering menu choices and enjoy. By the way I saw their Christmas menu and you won't want to miss it

I went for the second time last night, and the food was amazing, cheese and onion pie is a beast, whilst the beef puddings are immense, and the chicken fajita with plenty of sauce. Staff are lovely and friendly, it's a place where you don't mind a little wait as the food is worth it. Highly recommended, and I cannot wait to return in the future.

Had a good carvery type lunch very good value, meat was nice and tender. Staff very obliging. Sat next to open fire so was nice on cold day, more people than I expected on a cold Monday but not full. Will go again.

Had a lovely Christmas Dinner yesterday at The Roebuck Inn Strinesdale. The food was delicious, served hot, service was spot on. Staff were friendly, courteous, polite and nothing was too much trouble. They made our Christmas Day very special. Back again next year. Xxx
