Visited a couple of times when over from Northern Ireland. Made very welcome by all. Great bar staff friendly locals and the landlord is an absolute gentleman. Cracking atmosphere.
Had brill night Tuesday for pool, all the football world cup is being screened with complimentary snacks and discounted beer so it's worth the trip. Pleasantly run

Great friendly pub. Shame it does not have a singers folk night.
Not a good choice of drinks for my husband as he likes the darker ales, service wasn't very good it was busy but it seemed like they just served who was in front of them regardless of how long anyone else had been at the bar, I worked behind the bar for years and I know you should be checking around when you're serving to see who is next.
