Stopped for a bite to eat, fantastic atmosphere and the bar staff were so friendly. Had jacket spud and friend had the veggie lasagne, both came with side salad and slaw, lasagne had garlic bread too. We ate all of it, it was so good. Wine was good too
Amazing food, great service and a warm welcome. We had the liver and bacon and the scampi. Our meals arrived promptly and were piping hot! Delicious. Thank you.
The Landlord & Landlady we're very welcoming and made a table available to us for Sunday Lunch at short notice.nnThe lunch was very nice as we're the deserts, the normal food menu also looked extensive with a variety of dishes to choose from.nnVery nice atmosphere, great selection of beers, and overall a great place highly recommended!
Enjoyed an evening meal at the Rock Inn. Went with the Hunter's Chicken and beef stroganoff. Good portions, tasty and reasonably priced. The pub seems well supported by the locals and was busy for the Champions League final. They have Sky Sports . The restaurant is separate though and the exuberance didn't spill over from the main bar. The staff were friendly. Large comfortable paved garden out the back which could maybe do with a bit more greenery and colour. My sort of hostelry though. I Would happily go there again and probably will .
