We will be offering a meticulously chosen selection of fine wines, ales, spirits, beers, ciders, hot beverages and cocktails designed to please even the most discerning palate.

Visited to watch The Lonely Hands Band & Laurie Wright. Great venue, good sound, and awesome music. Drinks we're a bit pricey, but it is central London. Definitely would go again.

I loved watching 'Symposium' a sold out show performed, directed and written by uni students from Goldsmiths.  They should be showing another performance elsewhere on the 30th Sept 24.  Totally original idea, like nothing I've seen before. Water Rats is also the legendary place where Bob Dylan and Oasis first performed in the UK and Katy Perry has also performed.  Only downer was being served cider in a plastic cup.

Walked in here because it was next to my budget hotel. So happy I did. Food and service extraordinary and people welcoming and kind. Do not miss your chance to experience The Water Rats!

Great pub, polite friendly staff.  Good prices and a good selection of drinks are available.  There are plenty of indoors/outdoors.  Really good music venue at the back.

Discovered this place by accident, and very pleased that I did!  Attractive exterior and one room bar, with live music venue at the back.  This place has a lot of music history and the atmosphere was really building early evening on a Saturday as musicians were arriving and setting up.  The kitchen is open all day, with the menu including a full English breakfast and other traditional pub food.  All staff were really friendly and welcoming.  Will definitely return.

Very convenient place as it is just located next to my hotel. The best full English breakfast with lovely atmosphere and friendly staff are things I have enjoyed most in the morning of London. The steaks and fish and chips were very nice as well for dinner. Though I had only stayed in London for 5 days, I enjoyed 5 meals in Water Rats. Thanks for giving me such a good memory there. Really miss this restaurant so much! and definitely will return if I visit London again.

Iconic London pub and music venue.. Great place to see new bands...

If you’re a classic punk rocker or a music aficionado who knows Bob Dylan, The Sex Pistols,  The Cramps, etc. THIS is a great place to come and get a bite and have a drink. Tim is a great server, very approachable and knows a lot about this place. The younger guy with the bushy mustache doesn’t like saying: “CHEERS!”

Live nightly music venue but also does decent morning breakfast. Lady behind bar was really a top find, so friendly, what a bonus  The venue has some history too, Bob Dylan and oasis did early gigs here, also the Pogues and Katy Perry and others, worth a read up on historical ramblings and worth a visit too

Absolutely superb food, great cocktails and the staff are friendly and welcoming. Seeing Luke Combs UK was the reason for the visit and as a music venue, we absolutely loved it and will definitely return
