A really nice dog friendly pub we had tea at, local Christmas ale &excellent plentiful food from a good choice, hand cut chips too !
Lovely friendly pub, food was beautiful and dog friendly so perfect after a long dog walk.
No photographs but met with my dietary requirements for food last night. I had sweet potato, red onion and red pepper soup with rice - gluten free and tandoori nuggets gluten free. Lovely and welcoming staff, clean environment, would go again
Really nice food and very welcoming, dog friendly too which is great for us. They are clearly very popular as it was busy, we did book which was lucky. They did inform us that there would be a wait for food but they did manage to get our sharing starter out really quickly. We would definitely go back.
What can I say but wow, the food was amazing and the portion sizes well above average and brilliant value for what you pay.we had the black pudding and haggis starter and tandoori chicken burger and it will fill me up for at least 24hours staff were friendly and professional so it's a no brainer if we are passing again to stop and eat
This is a very nice pub! I've not tried the food yet but it looks really good and the menu is quite comprehensive! Lots of tasty treats to try. The beer is excellent, and the welcome is very warm too. UPDATE. I've tried the food twice now and I can't recommend it highly enough! Beautiful food, great atmosphere and yes, beautiful food! Try it, you're going to love it!
Great pub in the middle of a very friendly village. Great range of drinks and the food is delicious. Open from 12pm till late. If your in the area pay them a visit, you won't be disappointed.
First and second visit on Saturday and Sunday a group of 7 of us can I compliment all the staff and the food on both occasions. Will certainly revisit, thanks again
Staying local so thought we would dine out on our last night I had chicken wrapped in bacon with black pudding in the chicken. Mash with haggis plus veg. My wife had scampi. The food was awesome, well presented and value for money. We were made welcome and the locals loved the dog dogs welcome in the building Highly recommended if you are ever passing through or staying nearby
Been today for Sunday lunch found this place by chance while out for a drive. The carvery was lovely plenty of meat on our plates and the sausage was beautiful. Staff were very nice too
