This buzzing young bar in the heart of Oxford has an eclectic mix of contemporary décor with a twist of traditional period features. Laid out over 3 floors, with a phenomenal roof terrace, it is the ideal venue for your private event.

Good place for cocktails: we used the room on the second floor for a company event. Very accommodating staff, looked after us all. Nice to be able to pop up to the roof garden too with a view of the city.

The views at this place are great and the prices are on the expensive side... but for the location, it's acceptable. What is totally unacceptable is the staff in there. I have been there on multiple occasions and they are always slow. On the most recent occasion there was 4 bar staff behind the bar, two of which were serving, the other two who were drying glasses. When I got ignored when I was the rightful next server, I asked to be served by one of the other barmen who were standing around, only to be told that there was only two servers and essentially brushed off. When I eventually did get served, the barman was clearly dragging out my order and making jokes to the other barmen about me saying something. In every bar I have ever worked in, serving the costumer always comes above drying glasses, and if they have to asked to be served because you clearly are just standing around, that's even more of a reason to serve them! I really like it there, but honestly it's just not worth the rude staff and slow service anymore. They need to train their staff not to be rude, which is just basic manners, not rocket science.

Great lace was a bit quit for early friday night, no doubt packs up tho. cool place, cant believe i had never been here!

The sound system is out of date, the owners are bored and the staff are busy drinking behind the bar. Otherwise the location is superb, the alcohol - which hasn't been sitting around for longer than I have, is as labelled.
