The Oxford Retreat

Our stylish rejuvenation of the venue, recreates a warm and relaxed vibe whilst open until 3am at weekends, offering visitors a late night hangout, and a place to be and be seen.

Private Hire and Terrace

Our function room and terrace are ideal to relax in your own private surroundings. A beautiful main dining room and separate lounge perfect for private dining or business use; we can host up to 60 guests and offer an adjoining heated terrace.

For private dining in our function room we offer a set menu or a buffet menu for larger parties. We are also able to take eating and drinking bookings for parties larger than 20 people.

Heated Garden Open All Year Round

Our Garden is a city centre retreat with fun and playful furnishing to escape after a hard days work. It is open all year round and is partially covered. An outside hut has been transformed to a late night bar & DJ booth to serve you on the summer weekends. A TV screen is available in the garden to show the best in Sport, TV, and Film.


Taste our signature cocktails…

Our house mixologist has designed a brand new cocktail menu. You will find a mix of classic cocktails and a range of our signature ‘Retreat’ cocktails. We have a fine selection of wines from around the world and a list of spirits to please a range of tastes. We can design bespoke packages of cocktail sharers, champagne and spirit bottles service for large groups and private parties.

Located in the Heart of Oxford

Perched on the riverside, The Oxford Retreat is a beautiful brick building shrouded by weeping willows. We are located right in the heart of the Oxford city centre and a stones throw away from the train station.
