Unimposing from the outside but amazing food; a true hidden gem. We were served by a lovely friendly waitress who took pride in her job and made us feel at home. Highly recommended

Great ambiance, great selection of drinks. It’s a really cool place to go and chill out with your friends in a setting that isn’t your typical bar. Definitely worth visiting.

Lovely place to while away the time or meet up for a chat. Great coffee and cake. Recommend the ginger cake; and a good sized portion you'll get too. Good selection of alternative milks. Good for a stop on the way to or from the train station.

We had never been to the Jam Factory as this is not an area of Oxford we visit. We went because of the exhibition of postcard size paintings on show which were available to buy through auction to support the Sobel charity. The place was a surprise to us. The building is a converted jam factory, left very much in its raw state. The rooms are used as an exhibition space, but it is still a restaurant and coffee stop. There is more than one area to eat, including a covered outside area. Children are catered for. Parking as in most of Oxford is a no no. We did not eat, too early and we had a later engagement. We did though have coffee and cakes, which were of a good standard. Loved the menus for casual eating, and also saw there were music events on some evenings. There was a Spanish Flamenco night coming up. Next time we are in Oxford we will definitely be trying out the food at lunch time.
