We pride ourselves on the quality of our beer, our home-made food, traditional atmosphere and the friendly service provided by our staff.

Story

The Union Inn is a traditional tavern with a history stretching back several centuries.

It is the oldest tavern still trading in Moretonhampstead and retains many features and the atmosphere of past years.

You will receive a warm welcome from the staff of the Union Inn when you visit us. We pride ourselves on the quality of our ales and food.

The Union Inn is owned and run by Dave Colridge who has lived in Moretonhampstead all of his life (so far!).

Great menu choice. My son and I had the mixed grill and my daughter the roast lamb. It came on a massive plate full so much food and very tasty couldn't eat it all. Host and staff very friendly. Will recommend to all. Will be going again next time I'm passing.
That's the best pie I think that I have ever had!nTremendous -all you could dream of and as the headlining act the pie was par excellence. The supporting acts, the chips, gravy and veggies also came to the party. Superb service and banter with the regulars too.
A Staggeringly good pub. Very friendly staff. Huge portion sizes, I had the Roast Beef, there was loads of it and it was delicious, yorkshire puddings, pig in blanket, potatoes, parsnip, lots of vegetables, stuffing. Very well cooked, very delicious. I then had Chocolate Brownie with honeycomb Ice cream. The portion size was large and it was absolutely delicious! Great food and a huge selection, the menu is 4 pages. I highly recommend, one of the best pubs I've ever been in, and the best meal I've had for a long while. The value was also crazily good, for 3 people being absolutely stuffed with thoroughly good food cost less than £60 including drinks.
A proper pub serving very good food, I had a delicious and substantial Sunday roast. Pub is comfortable and nice atmosphere. The lady serving was very helpful to my partner who needed to know what was vegan on the menu
