Very friendly and accommodating staffMatt & Sam & Karen My partner and I had suffered an attack in our own home and thought to venture out after 4 days & ended up here! We're  so glad we did!nAlthough many drinks were had, it made us feel better and The Ship Inn is a place where you are welcome. Top all round

Staff were so accommodating, letting us check in hours early with no notice, so we could get into our rooms before a wedding. Classic English Pub downstairs, and such nice rooms. Lots of nice touches like free milk in the minibar, coffee and tea. And very affordable. Would definitely stay again

Had a Sunday lunch meal here today. Food is very good, a big selection of veg and choice of either pork or turkey as the meat. All cooked to perfection, selection of various desserts, can recomend the salted caramel meringue, provided you still have room for it.

Friendly and welcoming staff. Enjoyed lunch there, good variety, good prices

Popped in for lunch which was really good value. The staff were friendly and the place was clean.
