Loved the outdoor area and placing your order on line. Fantastic experience and great food. Will definitely be back. Pet friendly and the kids love it. Also very comfortable for adult conversations.
This is a brilliant pub and the feeling in here is just so relaxing and stress free it’s great. Especially when you just what somewhere to chill out after a week of work. The food in this here is really lovely and the staff are extremely friendly. There are televisions in the booths for children to watch while they eat with their families. There are toys available to buy and little activities for your children to do while they are at the pub. However there is only one lady’s lavatory that has a lockable door and they know about this as there is a sign on door.
Thought I'd try the burger Friday offer and got a 'smoking Jack burger'. The taste and texture was good but the quality was very poor for the price. The bacon that was in the burger was a very small thin fatty strip and the cheese was not Monterey Jack cheese...it was a basic slice of plastic tasteless cheese! Yuck Could of done with a little more fries. Will not be buying this ever again! Went into two different ladies toilets whist there and at least three doors didn't have locks on them. The booth I was in was dirty, the table wasn't cleaned prior to us arriving and the wall to my side had food splattered up it. All the lights above me had a thick layer of dust of them. Overall hygiene standards was poor. Drinks a bit pricey and food not value for money. The only positive thing about my recent visit was the customer service was good.
Great family restaurant. Staffs are very friendly, and the food’s good I recommend korean bbq sauce. Plenty available parking spots. They provide crayons and activity sheet that my daughter enjoy. There’s outdoor child playground as well.
Visited this evening with a table of 9 without booking on a bank holiday weekend, almost expecting not to get a table at 6.30/7 pm however pleasantly surprised when we were seated straight away. We were told to expect a delay of over 50 minutes for food, again this was made completely clear to us by the bar staff and server and we were happy to wait. After some issue with the app when ordering, we managed to punch our orders through, some through the app and some through the bar staff. Again, we were so surprised when our food arrived after a half hour wait, and three separate orders from app and bar orders arrived at the same time. Good food which was hot and delicious and great price / value for money. Staff checked on us during our meal. It was clear the staff had been busy that evening and they were busy serving drinks and doing things all evening. Very, very impressed with this establishment!! Issue with the toy machine - win a prize every time- was rectified instantly with no attitude from clearly busy staff. We certainly will be visiting again. Thank you everyone who worked this evening. Very happy and impressed with every thing.
Good quality food, unfortunately not many gluten free options, I chose salmon, peri peri sauce was not the best, also not spicy at all. Waiting time was around 45mins.
Food at a good price. Used part Tesco vouchers. Staff friendly and attentive. Had Tikka Stack, Burger Sizzler Combo & Full Monty Mixed Grill. Drinks probably a bit more expensive than other franchises.
The staff were very polite and helpful, although the food service was terribly slow. We had the Sunday roast beef, large while the vegetables were fine the topside roast was sparse and when you finally found it, was rather grisly. The desserts were fine, although not much of a selection 6 desserts compared to over 3 menu card full of main choices. Remember though this is a family restaurant with a set price point, therefore the prices reflect this. So the main course only cost two adjlts £14. We will try it again to be more fair before drawing any definitive conclusions
Waited 50 minutes for 2 burgers that take 5 minutes to microwave! Ordered the food at 7.17pm on Friday 6th Jan. Was never told a wait time and when the food finally arrived, no “sorry for the wait” was said. Wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. The only good thing was the price £14.99. Definitely won’t be in a rush to come back!
Always love a hungry horse, amazing value and large filling portions whatever one you go too. Thought we'd try the Ipswich branch. Lovely staff, good decor. They had their brand new menu which took some time to get used to but still had popular originals as well as brand new meals.
