I was in the thatch today with a friend and it was a disaster! I had fish & chips ( which was like a birds eye fish but had been left overnight & reheated, my friend had the daily roast which looked like Sunday leftover) We sent the both back & tried again to no avail, l had another (fish) my friend had another roast beef& they didn’t even other to take the cold chips&veg off the old plates came back stone cold! The lady manager didn’t even apologise! I don’t think l have Ever had such a bad meal and experience Was asked if we would like anything else from a very pleasant young man my friend she would have some garlic bread l had nothing & they then tried to charge her£2 50 for it ( l hope she did not pay)

A proper pub. Really good selection of local booze. Staff very friendly and helpful. Gorgeous food with enough selection for vegetarians, gluten free and vegans. Definitely recommend if you love a proper country pub

Went to the quiz night. Very well organised and amazing food. Thank you we shall definitely return. The team are very friendly and super efficient as well. Rufus 4 quizzers.

Good range of beers very friendly staff and great atmosphere. I have not tried the food yet but what i saw coming out of kitchen looked good. Proper pub
