Drinks were good, but that's where it ended. Poor quality meat, expensive for the small size of portions. The chef has no idea what brisket is. I will never go again. So disappointed. I wanted this local place to do well. I've had better meals from wetherspoons. We left still hungry..

We were very excited about visiting, having been to America a number of times and being fans of smokehouse meats......but we left very dissapointed and still a bit peckish! Brisket is chewy and dry and the ribs were not much better. The whole place is confused as to whether it's a restaurant or diner. Outside and inside is restaurant looking but then our food (not very much of it) is served up in plastic diner style bowls. It's kitted out with a complete mish mash of artwork and posters. There was absoloutely no atmosphere at all and the music selection was just odd. The staff were pleasant enough but I got the impression that they didn't want to be there. If you are going to open a restaurant that is vaguely based on any American food, you have to make sure you are offering something more or something better then the very well known American restaurant that is just a stone's throw away. We won't be going back.

Great meal on Saturday night. All six of us thought the meal was brilliant. Well worth a try.
