The Chevalier has undergone a refurb since I last visited and I'm pleased to say its got much better, "it's still a weatherspoons" not that that's a bad thing as you know what your getting at a ridiculously cheap price and a great place to start a night out or end it due to the late opening hours. They have a couple of roof terraces that are great additions. It struggles to beaten on a cheap pit stop in Exeter.

Very busy but loads of seating areas including outside terraces the top one being a smoking area. Although busy efficient friendly staff ensure you don't have to wait too long to place food orders or drinks😀

Recently refurbished in a tasteful manner. Ordered via the app and although there was a little confusion, food and drinks arrived quickly. This branch serves pizzas and we opted for a garlic bread to try. It was a bit plain and definitely did not match the picture, but it was still good value, as were the drinks using CAMRA vouchers. The Panini that I had on a subsequent visit was also good. Overall recommended.
