Story

Formerly known as Cooling, Hatt's Bar now has a vibrant new feel. Serving fresh and tasty food, hot beverages and a selection of cakes and treats by day (11:30 - 18:00). By night, we become one of Exeter most loved bars with a large selection of wines, beers, spirits and premium cocktails in our Cellar Cocktail Bar.

The Cellar is open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings - with a 2for1 offer currently running on Wednesday's between 20:00-22:00!

It was a Thursday farewell to a work colleague there were 9 of us for drinks only starting at approximately 630pm ending at about 1100pm. It was quite quiet during our time there with perhaps 15 other customers coming and going during this time. The staff were pleasant and friendly. I would definitely go back on a Thursday evening for quiet drinks. Cheers AL
I like this place for a lunchtime pitstop with its colourful decor, relaxed ambience, and central location. Great place to people watch from a window table. Awesome nachos and good prices. No experience of evenings though.
5-7pm mon-thurs is happy hour/s. £2.50 for ice cold Tiger. Quality New owners no happy hour. Oh dear. London prices in Exeter all the time.
Decent portions at sensible prices. Better than the restaurant chains everyone else seems to flock to. One of our favourite lunch stops.
Fast service and good food! It appears to be a bar/cafe which is a mixed vibe as there are people there drinking and some having a late lunch.
Good value, friendly staff and nice location just off the high street.
