Having visited now on several occasions I would be happy to recommend this place to anyone. Families, couples, friends, work colleagues etc. The new menu is excellent and the food incredible, the staff are very nice and helpful. Child seats are available and their is plenty of room for a push chair. On certain nights they have live music which is excellent too. The ale is top and changes from time to time bringing in local produce. Great views of the river and a lovely outdoor area, especially in the summer. Will be visiting again!!! 5 star doesn't do it justice.

I used to drink in Ironbridge regularly when I was younger but haven't visited they pubs the for years. The Swan had certainly changed over the years! It looks very smart inside and the food smelled great (we didn't eat). There was a decent selection of beers on tap including an IPA.

I really enjoyed the food here. However, the service, wait on food and customer service was way below what I would expect from the Swan Inn. We waited an hour for our food to arrive, we weren't asked if everything was OK with our meal (which was especially annoying when one of our meals was served cold) , we had to ask for cutlery and I heard several other tables around us having the same issues. It would have been barely understandable if they were heaving, however they were barely busy. A very disappointing visit when we had such Hugh hopes.

Fabulous staff,nothing to much trouble for them. Evening meals and breakfasts superbly cooked and very generous portions. Great selection of ales. Very comfortable and clean wonderful location.

Had a cream tea here for my sister's birthday on 9th May and was very disappointed. The cream tea was served on a wooden board and was nothing like the cream tea advertised! Everything was stale (you were served mini brioche, rather than freshly cut sandwiches, and they were bland and dry). We had to send the (very minute!) slice of sticky toffee pudding back to the kitchen, because it was extrenely hard and dryed out along the edges. The scone was equally stale, made only edible by the fresh cream. The so-called unlimited tea and coffee was served in a very small tea cup and, despite there being only one other couple in the pub at the time, we had to prompt the waitress to top us up after we had waited more than 25 minutes to be asked if we'd like a refill. It was very poor value for money & the only reason i have given it a 1 star rating is simply because the staff were friendly. Would certainly encourage anyone visiting The Swan to avoid the cream teas here, unless you enjoy eating stale and bland food at an extortionate rediculous price (the amount of brioche served on the board would, I say, feed just the one adult - certainly not 2).
