Chris and the team provided an excellent evening in the restaurant ... I cannot fault them at all even with the need to have gluten free they looked after us.. fantastic

Great location as a starting point for visiting the many landmarks around this area, hotel was clean and the staff were helpful, I would have no reservations about returning to the hotel.

This is a quirky hotel but it seems like it's pot luck on the quality of the room allocated. Ours definitely wasn't worth the full advertised price but fortunately we had booked a couple of nights at a discount. Staff are very friendly. We didn't have an evening meal here but breakfast was very good. Location of the hotel is excellent. It backs onto a park next to the river and it is only a short walk into the village. It seems to be a very popular hotel with many business folk using it during the week. Has the potential to be excellent but certainly our room needed some refurbishment.

Excellent room, service, the best hot chocolate Ive had in years. Restaurant was first class - waiting staff were friendly yet professional - food was outstanding
