This is a traditional Marston's pub on the outskirts of Ironbridge. There is a good atmosphere and the hosts are very welcoming. The lunchtime food offering is good and excellent value, two main courses for £12. The bridge and shops are a pleasant walk from the pub alongside the river.

Our Sunday lunch was excellent. Plentiful and very hot. Lots of fresh vegetables and very tender lamb. Will definitely be eating Sunday lunch there again.

The food is variable here. It has been really good at times. Then other times disappointing. The location is good.

Very friendly, helpful staff. Good food. Not used their B&B facilities though so my rating is only for the pub/restaurant side of things.
