Our Airmen's bar is brim full of second World War memorabilia and signatures of USAAF personnel stationed at Lavenham Airfield during World War Two
The Airmen's Bar was named in honour of the UK & US air force personnel who were stationed at nearby RAF Lavenham during the Second World War, most notably the 487th Bombardment Group, 8th USAAF. Signatures of the airmen adorn the walls of the bar and many cap badges and shoulder titles are on display, within the bar. The Airmen's Bar is located at The Swan at Lavenham Hotel & Spa. Please enter via the front entrance of the hotel, you'll then immediately see the bar on your left-hand side. Non-residents are most welcome.
