This is a great ale drinkers pub. So long as you understand what you are getting, then this is perfect. No piped music, no TV, no fruit machines, no mass produced lager. Just a stunning selection of ales (about 6 keg, similar cask, and plentiful bottles) and very friendly service. I also noted the beer was served in slightly oversized pint glass so no short measures here.

Nice friendly atmosphere and great staff. Just enough choice for a good session. If you like beer and your train has stopped at chandler's ford station you now have a very good reason to get off the train.

A great place for "real ale" drinkers. Plenty of choice from a very wide range of craft ales on tap and bottled. They also have a very crisp and tasty pilsner for us lager drinkers. No juke box, no bandits, no electronic games just great beers and good conversation. Try it, you'll like it.

Great little bar with a good selection of quality ales and knowledgeable and helpful staff. Watch out for quirky opening days / hours - it currently isn't open on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Great place for real ale. Fantastic selection and the owner really knows his beer. Popular place that can get busy at time. Check their Facebook page for opening times which tend to be from 3pm.
