Great food and staff if you like it you like it.  If you don't you don't. I do so I've been there for years.  Tried all the others in the local area and always go back to David's.

Literally the best chippy I've ever been to. Gone there for 20 years and have no complaints. Lovely, polite staff and fab food. They even do bartered Mars bars (and many other battered chocolatey treats). Absolutely love them.

The staff are lovey and friendly but the food is really bad, the fish was in a puddle of dark brown oil in the paper which was revolting and the mushy peas tasted really strange, I think they were off. The chips were bareable
