Great place for good honest pub food. Both service & food were great. Really friendly & pleasant staff.nThe only negative is that some of the furnishings were a bit tired but were still extremely comfortable.nThe best thing for me personally was the landlord Beau, the Boxer dog who gave a friendly welcome & a free wash when he was fussed.
I always have a great time here! Been to the quiz night on a Thursday a few times and it's so much fun, and for such a good price you can't go wrong! Food is always banging, served quickly and tasty. Staff are great too, they're really friendly and genuinely seem to care about their patrons and ensuring people have a good time. Would definitely recommend coming here
Absolutely disgusting service today, waited at the bar which had no one waiting to get a drink so the two bar staff standing at the end looking at me and chatting between them selfs. Every time I’ve ordered through the app it has took easily 20 mins even when the bar hasn’t been busy and again staff chatting amongst themselves.nnFood took well over a hour for a plate of nachos. After chasing the food up I then received Attitude back from a staff member in particular who then proceeded to tell me there is now a hour wait on the food. We were not told when ordering that this would be the case and didn’t get updated at all throughout this process.nnThe only thing that made the experience any good tonight was quiz night which had a great atmosphere and would throughly recommend smart phone pub quiz.
We stopped here for an evening meal and a drink. The pub was clean and tidy and the food menu was extensive. We did wait quite some time for our meal which was surprising as the pub was fairly quiet.nThere is a car park at the front of the building and the staff were curious and helpful. The food was to a reasonable standard for the price we paid.
Came for the Charity quiz which was brilliant fun. It was really busy and the staff worked tirelessly to make sure everyone was attended to. Lots of money was raised for such an amazing charity, well done Monks Brook!
