Not the best experiences unfortunately was stood waiting for 5 minutes at the door before anyone came to see us then was told they would need 15 minutes to clear a table. So we sat in the pub where the toilet was leaking all over the floor and a massive fan blowing in the corner. After 15 minutes we went back over to wait another 5 minutes before being seated. Not sure why we waiting so long as the place was empty apart for 5 tables. Salad bar was empty, food over cooked and service took way to long.
Jess was our waitress this afternoon, she was super lovely, even though it was busy she was polite and cheerful. As a sauce in our order was unavailable, she offered an alternative sauce which was very similar, she was just a delight to talk to. When we were ready to pay, she asked if we had any vouchers, as I pulled it out she didn't hesitate to say that there's a better voucher on the app, thank you for being so lovely Jess!
The food quality was very poor this evening, which was a shock.nBread rolls in salad bar was stale, missing various items. The child’s brownie was so hard it couldn’t be eaten and when complained, this wasn’t taken off the bill. Usually we have a great time when we visit and are regular visitors but this really put us off returning again.
The food was OK. The staff is very welcoming, but they were definitely short in people. I had to stand and call the waitress twice to order food.
It was a great experience, brought the whole family out. We had a fantastic time. The service was very very good from Lilly she was amazing and I am so glad she was there. I have had a great evening
