Excellent food with an innovative menu. The pizza oven does a roaring trade and smells wonderful. Good fresh tasting beer and friendly service. Try it, you'll enjoy it.

Very nice restaurant, The food was good and service was acceptable. The staff were friendly. However, I found my meal rather small with just two tiny potatoes. I had the trout, and my cheese and biscuit portion was small and lacked accompaniments such as grapes and celery. At £7.50, it was a little disappointing. An expensive meal for the amount offered but still quite enjoyable.

Really nice pint of real ale. Steak sandwich and chips - not cheap (@£8) but very nice and filling. Nice decor and spotless clean toilets!

Delicious food, lovely staff and a nice environment for a relaxed dinner. Had the mussels and the steak and couldn't have been happier.
