Lovely owners turning the Village Pub around. Well worth popping in for a drink and supporting a local venue. Each time I visit something has been improved upon. Excellent pub!
The Station Pub offers a lively atmosphere and is great for socializing, but the food is average. It gets overly crowded on weekends, which can detract from the experience. Best for drinks and casual gatherings.Mulled wine was exceptional.
Amazing pizza!! Lots of kiddos running and screaming - which is totally fine if that’s your thing, but it’s not mine. Also freezing cold as the doors were wide open for some reason. But the pizza was DELICIOUS and came out pretty quickly despite how busy it was. Highly recommend.
We have been to The Station many times now, and all I can say is that it is absolutely brilliant in every way.nnThe staff are the most friendliest and helpful people and the whole vibe of the place is just 10/10.nnWe have eaten here a few times now and every time the food has been amazing. There is not one bad thing we can say about it. This place is 100% worth a try.nnThe pad Thai is to die for, along with the selection of starters they have to offer! Everything that is served up is top quality in every single way, unlike most pub food that you get in other places nowadays!nnTaking people to new places can sometimes be nerve wracking as you never know how it’s going to turn out food and service wise. We have now brought family and friends to eat at The Station and they rave on about it because of the how great the food and service is!nnWe highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
We had our wedding meal and evening Reception at The Station and what a fabulous time we had!nnWhere to start! The food is amazing, generous portions and all really tasty. Jeanette and her team couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating both beforehand and on the day.nnBoth we and our guests highly recommend The Station for any wedding/party or event you are thinking of holding.
