A fantastic local pool and snooker club ideally located right in the town centre. Went recently for the first time and found staff to be super helpful. Really easy to set up a membership and costs were very reasonable. Able to bring guests along too. The venue itself was surprisingly spacious with lots of pool tables, seating and tvs. The snooker room is sectioned off so nice and private. Great bar with good selection of drinks. They were currently finishing off some refurbishment works and kitchen wasn’t quite ready so can’t comment on food but am sure it will be great once all up and running. Will definitely be back!
We had fun on Friday night playing snooker all night. It was busy but not overcrowded and everyone had a pool table to themselves. If you are worried about getting a table to play on then you can reserve a table for a couple of hours or even the whole night. The drinks were not expensive and normally you can order something to eat from the kitchen.
Very let down since I have become a member here! They told me to become a member as it would work out cheaper but since I have been here the last 3/4 times they have been closed with no notice what so ever. The one time I did get to play here they were very short staffed or should I say very organised!! I had to wait over one hour in the queue just to be given a table for an hour and even then the lady who served us was very rude and selective to whom she wanted to serve first! Today, Sunday 20:00pm my family arranged to come down so we could play a few games of pool so we checked online and it showed as ‘open’ but as always when we arrived they were closed! Micky mouse company run by Micky mouse people who chose when they want to open or stay closed. In my opinion if this was run by a proper team this could actually become the best spot around the local area but unfortunately whilst it’s being run by these Micky mouse owners we won’t get to see the potential this place could reach, Thanks guys for wasting my time and experience once again and on my next visit I will be cancelling.. if your open

Okay, yes it a Wetherspoons pub but wow what a breakfast we had. It was wonderfully prepared and and tasty. The pub staff were very friendly and didn't hesitate to ensure that you made your order cost effectively too. I'd go again.
First time at this venue, very busy as a pool competition was in place, staff were friendly. Plenty of seating available, most tables had just been re clothed which is good. Food looked OK but standard for pool/snooker clubs
Only place for miles that you can get an extended session of pool in! Still a Riley's in terms of decor ha!. But other than that tables are good enough for a few games or 32 in our case. Small pub tables are very good condition. Larger, American pool tables could do with a clean up but I'm no Efren Rayes so it probably doesn't matter that much Staff are super friendly and helpful
No-one ever answers the phone? We live 40 minutes away and have arrived a few times when they are supposed to be open and it has been closed. I would have thought that a working telephone line or a reliable way of advising customers when you are open would be a pre-requisite for running a successful company nowadays, but obviously not. After trying for 3 days to get a response by telephone around 1pm so that we can come and play pool for a couple of hours on our week off, I give up.
Top Banana there's loads of tables, pool,snooker, ping pong, fusball, you never have to wait for a game
