Fantastic afternoon at Home Cottage - group of 23 of us for a wedding celebration. Poppy and her team were so accommodating and really made our day special. The food was outstanding from start to finish with a wide variety of options for everyone including very good gluten free options. 100% recommend.
A superb pub and restaurant nCertainly the best I've experienced in Redhill.nThe service from Karina was excellent, your warm and welcoming attitude is commendable, you were attentive and courteous through, outstanding service nHome cottage has a lovely atmosphere in general with traditional features like an open fireplace as well as a large modern restaurant area and outside seating area under cover too.nThe food is excellent and reasonably priced £24 for 3 course lunch with drink.nI have avocado on sourbread, chunky chips and apple crumble all of which were well presented and excellent quality.nHighly recommend
The roast chicken was very good and the service was very friendly.nnHowever, the roast potatoes were a bit tough and rubbery. We were disappointed that they had run out of roast beef, but the chicken was very nice.
I found this venue by chance and I am so glad I did. I was struggling to find somewhere to accommodate my son’s 18th party until I found The Home Cottage. The communication from the team was fantastic from start to finish. The function room was absolutely perfect to hold his party. I can honestly say what a credit to the pub the whole team were on the night. They were very attentive, made my son, my family and his friends feel so welcome. We even ran out of food, possibly forgetting how much teenagers eat my fault! However, it was not a problem as the chefs went out of their way to supply more food for which we were really grateful. A fantastic pub with a great atmosphere. Thank you all so much for making my son’s night so special.
Great as always. Chicken roasts were brilliant. Beef was a little flavourless and the gravy had a strange consistency. Lovely place as always though and Jess the server was spot on, very helpful and very attentive. She made the visit very worthwhile
