Here at Toby Carvery Redhill, we believe there's only one way to do our beloved British roast – and that's properly.

Story

When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings – including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lovely little crunchy bits, and plenty of freshly prepared veg, all crowned with proper gravy. So it's no wonder we're Surrey's favourite carvery restaurant.

We just had a fantastic meal at this Toby carvery. We have eaten at these places before and not been inspired to leave a review. However on this occasion we were met with a wonderful member of staff called Aneta. She really made our day as she was funny, knowledgeable and the service from her was great.nThe food is standard for Toby carvery, good quality and loads of vegetables.nI would definitely make the effort to come this way again just to see the friendly staff especially AnetannThanks for a great Sunday meal.
I called him to speak to the manager and I spoke to a very rude person named Geo who said he was the manager. He was very rude and doesn’t know how to be respectful to people. I think he’s not an asset to the company and he makes me feel like I should not spend my money with the company.
Beef rib roll is the star of the show. My second Toby Carvery at two venus in two days. Both meals were consistent and excellent value but, both had medioca veg. Neither had Guiness 0.0. Neither displayed the price pf the refillable soft drinks.
So, you can’t expect too much from a cheap and cheerful Toby Carvery. But what made this meal awesome was our server, Beata. From the moment we entered the restaurant she was attentive, kind, personable, professional and friendly. It was exceptionally busy on 23/1/2026. The staff were struggling, gravy ran out, the drinks machine ran out of gas and syrup but Beata kept her composure. She never showed the stress that other staff were feeling. She was more than happy to help with any questions and queries, she was very informative when telling us about meal options and current offers. She always tended to us with a smile and a kind word.nI cannot give this lady enough credit. I hope she gets recognised for her hard work.nThank you Beata.nThe Potter Family
This lunch that we had at the Toby carvery was outstanding. The food, service and lots of other things were incredible. Also shout out to Aneta for being a lovely waitress and she was really good at making me smile. The chefs that cooked this fantastic meal are phenomenal.
