Just back from another lovely stay, home now☹️. I don’t really want to recommend it as it will get too popular but I have to!! It’s like going to your second home.  Wendy,Richard,Simon,James and Eva are sooo lovely. The food is really good and the rooms are so clean warm and welcoming after a days walking. You have everything you need there and I can’t wait to go back!

I loathe to share my favourite places in case they get spoilt, but they deserve the review. Love the family setup, great wholesome food and enough beer selection to make you relaxed.

I'm so glad I've finally found this place again. Me and my partner had a stay here a couple of years ago and been trying to find it again. Absolutely loved it. Service was great we took our dog very dog friendly. had a lovely stay and will definitely be back :)

Very nice staff, looked good, sadly had no space for us due to a party of 28 booked in, and chef not starting until 6:30pm on a Sunday evening (totally fair, and up front about this). Said they could fit us in at 7pm, but with 2 small kids, sadly we couldn't wait.

Was in desperate need of food when we stumbled across this place after travelling all day. It didn't disappoint! the place was heaving (it was a Saturday), but the staff were very friendly and the food was excellent and great value for money, accompanied with decent ales. We'll be going again!
