Stunning site, just roll up and pitch up. Can't fault the washup area, loos and showers; they're basic but clean and functional which is all you need. Very good pitch fees for tents - there's a few electric hookups if you're that way inclined. I won't mark the site down for it, but if you're looking for a dead quiet getaway, best check there's no large parties booked in the other fields. Nice to find somewhere with ready made fire pits. Logs are available from the site, two bags and kindling for a tenner, more than enough for the 6 days we stayed.

Amazing spot along the valley, nice atmosphere on the site with good facilities, had the rear doors open facing the stream with the lambs bleeting in the background made for a great backdrop! Well worth a trip and had some great food at the Staghunters Hotel (short cycle ride away) - the place was rammed and understandably so. Bonus that it appeared you could have fires.
