Channel View Caravan & Camping Park

Spent 4 night here. Nice site. Decent facilitys, some nice extra touches, family shower room, dog shower etc. small shop, well laid out, very reasonable tariff, lovely friendly helpful Owners. Hope to return. Thank you Channel View C&C park.

Had a great weekend break in between showers great for walking and visiting the north coast. Staff very friendly and the pub next door was great and no problems taking the dog in.

Arrived to a warm welcome. Had a problem with our van and staff were only too willing to lend tools. Site is well maintained and clean. Free WiFi was a real bonus and water pipes are right at the rear of every pitch so no traipsing to fetch water. Had a look around free showers last night and was pleasantly surprised as they were super clean and modern. To be honest I can't really fault this site maybe, if anything, the shop could be a little better stocked but they carry the basics so was enough for us. Will definitely be back, although if coming from up north towing a caravan it might be worth avoiding Porlock Hill as it's incredibly steep!!!

Not a nice site, toilets & Showers were terrible, Shop had no stock, pitches were poor but Lynton & Lynmouth are lovely and the pub next door friendly service and the food is outstanding... Sorry we wont be returning to this site unless it has massive investment to bring it up to standard. But we will be returning to the Beggars Roost (pub next door).

We have just got back from a weeks holiday at this amazing campsite. The owner and staff who are so helpful and friendly. The facilities are perfect even a proper bathroom so you can have a nice hot bath after climbing all the hills. The camp site is in a central location for walks to watersmeet the valley of the rocks and down into Lynmouth where you can get the cliff railway up into Lynton. There is a small shop that sells all the essentials and more. A pub next door that does delicious food. It's the little extras that puts the site on top for us. The chemical waste disposal is an actual toilet you empty swirl round with the hose and flush away in a covered area. There is a motor home service point drive on open your waste taps empty and drive off. Large pitches with electric hook up and most have their own water tap. Can't fault this site at all.
